PreKindergarten at Armatage

Armatage Montessori, a Minneapolis Public School, offers a tuition-based, full- day pre-kindergarten classroom (PreK) that prepares children for kindergarten. PreK students enjoy the same school amenities as other grades, including weekly classes with specialists (including art, music, physical education, science and media.) The classroom offers a gentle and loving environment, where they are encouraged to develop self-reliance, respect for others, and curiosity.

The Armatage PreK classroom was developed and designed and is taught by 35-year veteran teacher of the Minneapolis Public Schools, Connie Rubenstein. Miss Connie holds a degree in Child Psychology, a Minnesota Teacher License in Early Childhood Education, and a Montessori Teacher Certificate. She has devoted all 35 years of her teaching career in the Minneapolis Public Schools to Early Childhood and Family Education and School Readiness.
