Dear Parents & Guardians & Armatage Students,

I have mixed feelings about writing this letter.  I’m excited to share with all of you that I’ll be the new principal at Ridgeview Elementary school in Bloomington next fall!  On the other hand, I’m sad to be leaving the Armatage community.  You have all made me feel so welcome and I’ve had an amazing learning experience at Armatage.

It’s been lovely getting to know students and families, and I’m really going to miss all of you!  I’ll likely come to a few fall events at Armatage so that I can say goodbye in person.  Armatage is a very special place, and I want to thank you all for making my short time at Armatage welcoming and impactful.

Students--keep up your reading, math, and inquiry!  I have loved getting to know you and seeing your amazing work in your classrooms, the hallway and around the building.  You make coming to work a real JOY!  Thank you and know that I will miss you and your wonderful smiles and personalities!

Have a wonderful summer and stay safe!

Virtual hugs,

Carey Seeley

P.S. Keep up your reading!  As you all know, I LOVE books and reading!  What is one book that you hope to read this summer?  If you send me a note about it, I’ll be happy to write you back!  My address at Ridgeview is going to be:
