Free Food Boxes for Children
Wednesday, June 24, 2020 8:55 PM

We are providing FREE food for ALL children, 18 and under, during COVID-19. All families are welcome to participate in this program. Weekly food boxes are available for pick-up Monday-Friday from 10-2. We are at ten different sites per day, giving families fifty pick-up locations across Minneapolis to choose from throughout the week. Look for the white canopy at all MPS food pickup sites! To keep families and staff safe, we provide contract-free pick-up.
To better serve the community, we will be making some adjustments to our summer schedule for food box pick-up starting June 22. We will be opening new sites, closing sites that are located near other sites, and adjusting some site schedules. Know that we are able to meet the demand for food boxes, and we hope all families will continue to pick up a box each week for each of their children. Boxes are filled with fresh produce and items for seven breakfasts and seven lunches that meet our True Food standards for nutrition and quality ingredients.
