The Annual Armatage Carnival is Friday, May, 3, 2019!

Hundreds of kids and their parents gather at our school to participate in the fun. Join us in games of chance and contests of skill, prizes, food, treats, face-painting, inflatables, and plenty of chaos! 

Preorder tickets and meal deals! Preorder tickets and recieve 5 free tickets for every 20 purchased and avoid the lines at the carnival. Order forms are here and also will be sent home this week and are DUE by Friday, April 26.

Volunteer! We need lots of volunteers to ensure maximum fun. Plan to take a shift, or two, or three. This event can't happen without parent support! Volunteers receive 5 free tickets for each volunteer shift! Sign up here

Family Reading Night  2019 is Thursday, May, 16th from 6-8 PM. This annual PTA sponsored FREE event is for all grades and families. This year's event features local authors, local storytellers, Write From Your Heart, a craft, book sales by the Wild Rumpus and treats! Gallery A is an annual arts showcase and fundraiser at Armatage.

Save the date for Gallery A-The ArmatageStudent Art Showcase: Tuesday May 21st, 5:30-7:00 pm in the Big Gym.

Spend the evening viewing a showcase of student works, enjoy some art themed treats, partake in the community art activity, and bid on creative goods in the Gallery A auction. The PTA needs NEW Board Members for 2019-2020!

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is looking for Board Members!  The PTA is a great way to be involved in decisions affecting Armatage kids.  Most of the current board will be retiring after this year.  We need parents to help keep the organization moving- the PTA is the catalyst for so many events and programs for the school.  The PTA is also responsible for the funding of these great events and programs.

Our next meeting is on Thursday, April 11 at 6:30 in the media center.

Summer School Registration is OPEN!

Summer School Registration is open!  District-eligible students will be invited to attend the Summer Learning Program (math, reading, writing, art, music, and gym).  ALL students are invited to apply for GEMS (Girls Excelling in Math and Science) or GISE (Guys in Science and Engineering). Summer school runs June 17-July 25, Monday-Thursday (closed July 4).  All programs are free and transportation is provided.  Click the title link for more information.

Spring 2019 Community Education Classes

Spring is right around the corner and so the next session of Community Ed Classes. Classes will run from April 8th through May 22nd. Online registration begins March 15th and will close on April 5th. If you need a paper form they can be picked up in the main office. Please see the Community Education page for more details.
