Comprehensive District Design Digest: Everything you need to know this week!
Friday, December 6, 2019 7:50 PM

LATEST UPDATE FROM MINNEAPOLIS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT: This week, school district leaders met to complete the second part of the boundary study, which includes adding magnet schools and citywide special education programs. Magnet schools’ main purpose is to draw students from across the district to promote racial and economic integration. These schools often have a specific theme—such as arts, STEM, or language immersion—that students and families want to be a focus of their education.

Application for Educational Benefits
Sunday, December 1, 2019 7:30 AM

We still have over 200 families who have not submitted an Application for Educational Benefits form (lunch form).  ALL families must complete this annually.  Forms may be obtained at the Armatage office or online (www.schoolcafe.com).  Please complete as soon as possible so valuable staff time is not spent making phone calls.  Parents may check a box if they believe their child does not qualify for free or reduced lunch.

These forms determine a school’s level of state (compensatory ed)  and federal (Title I) dollars that are allocated to support students with additional resources.

Questions?  Contact:  Julie Railsback, Armatage School Social Worker at 612-668-3185.
