Weekly Food Distribution
Monday, April 6, 2020 4:20 PM
Each day, up to 10 different sites across the city will offer food pick-up from 10 am - 2 pm, Monday-Friday. Each food box contains 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches for a total of 10 meals. Families are welcome to take ONE (1) box per child, per week. Food is FREE and available to any child 18 years or younger.

Happy Spring break!  This may not be the spring break we had all hoped for, but the weather is lovely and we hope you are making the most of this time with your families.  We all miss you at Armatage and are hoping for a smooth transition to our online learning starting on Monday, April 6th.

Letter from Principal Franks

We are in unprecedented times.  Over the past five days, all of our lives have changed in some form.  Closed schools, businesses, restaurants, fitness centers, nursing homes, places of worship etc… are now dark with the doors locked for an indefinite amount of time.  It would be easy to become distraught and feel hopeless, but the past two days have proven there is nothing that cannot happen when we work together

Fundraising for Foster - CANCELLED

To comply with the new guidelines from the Minneapolis School District, we are cancelling the in person Fundraising for Foster event scheduled for this Sunday, March 15th.  We are disappointed to cancel and hope to reschedule for a later date in May.  Please see the notes below for details on tickets and the online auction.

Happy March! Congratulations to the 3rd grade students in room 126 (Stacy Katzovitz class) and room 127 (Kristen Hanson’s class) who sang “The Rainbow Connection” for our February Student of the Month program (Friday February 21st). They did an excellent job!  This Student of the Month song was a special request by Principal Franks… it’s her favorite!

As the snow begins to melt, the birds are chirping and there are puddles everywhere, these are clear signs that spring is upon us. The kiddos are beginning to get excited about their spring break plans and of course, this too is an indication that time is quickly flying by.  There will be no school on Friday, March 27th through Friday, April 3rd for Spring Break.
