Hi, my name is Susie King and I am excited to be your child’s first grade teacher! Before joining the Armatage staff, I taught kindergarten through third grade in other Minneapolis Public Schools. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, attended the University of St. Thomas graduate school, and completed Montessori certification at St. Catherine University in St. Paul.

I live in South Minneapolis with my husband and our son. We have 2 pets, a dog named Mabel and a cat named Lola. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outside, baking, gardening, and reading. I am proud to be a part of the dedicated, hard-working staff of Armatage Community School!
