Chalk Art & Popsicles
This family gathering takes place in late summer to welcome students to the new school year at Armatage. It is a casual playground meetup where the community can meet fellow families, chat with the principal, and enjoy a cold treat.
The week before school starts, Armatage hosts an open house for incoming students and their families. At this event, each student is encouraged to complete a passport booklet with stops around Armatage.
Tears and Cheers
This is an event that takes place on the first day of Kindergarten just after drop off. It is a great way for Kindergarten parents to celebrate the first day and connect with current Armatage families to get all their questions answered.
Armatage Family Fun Walk
The Family Fun Walk takes place every Fall and is a great way to meet Armatage families and build our school community. Students and their families gather on a Saturday morning to walk around the Armatage block. There are stops set up along the way with fun events and a breakfast. It is also Armatage PTA's largest fundraiser of the year.
The annual Scholastic Book Fair is a magical and unforgettable experience where all kids get to enjoy a shopping experience with their class. With help from the PTA, all students take home a book.
This winter family meetup takes place at Armatage park. Families can ice skate, play in the snow, and get to know the friends that their student has made this year.
Family Reading Night
This event takes place on a weekday evening at Armatage. Families are welcomed into the building to enjoy readings by both students and local authors. There are also crafts, snacks, and sales by local bookstores.
Pits & Alleys
This beloved annual event takes place in P.E. class. The exciting obstacle course is one of the kids favorite events. Volunteers are welcome to come cheer on the students and share in the fun.
Fundraising for Foster
Armatage PTA hosts a Spring fundraiser that includes a night out to a local restaurant with food, drinks, games and raffles proceeding the school.
Spending the day outside when Spring fever hits makes this a favorite event for students. Each student has the opportunity to compete amongst their peers at events such as the shoe kick, limbo, and dash. Parents love soaking up the sun on the sidelines cheering on the fun. Snacks and school spirit are enjoyed by all.
The Spring Art Fair is a beloved event where students get to show off their artwork from the school year.
5th Grade Graduation
At the end of the year, Armatage hosts a 5th grade graduation ceremony to send our 5th graders off in style.
