Multiple Open Houses take place throughout the school year: The first is the week before school starts. At this event students meet their teacher, drop off supplies, and get familiar with the building.
The second Open House takes place in January and is an opportunity for prospective families to see Armatage before filling out their enrollment request with the district.
The third Open House takes place at the very end of the school year. This is an opportunity for incoming Kindergarten students and their families to meet new classmates, the Kindergarten teachers, and see the school before starting their summer break.
Tears and Cheers
This is an event that takes place on the first day of Kindergarten just after drop off. It is a great way for Kindergarten parents and new families to celebrate the first day and connect with current Armatage families to get all their questions answered.
Student of the Month Ceremonies
This ceremony is held each month to honor students that exemplify the month's theme (ex. "belief - believe in yourself"). Families and Caretakers are welcome to come see their students receive their certificate. The program takes place in the Theater, followed by juice and cookies in the cafeteria. (This event is on HOLD for 2021-2022 due to COVID, but we hope to bring it back next school year).
Armatage Family Fun Walk
The Family Fun Walk takes place every Fall and is a great way to meet Armatage families and build our school community. Students and their families gather on a Saturday morning to walk around the Armatage block. There are stops set up along the way with fun events and challenges and the walk ends with a big breakfast. This event is also Armatage PTA's largest fundraiser of the year.
The annual Scholastic Book Fair is a magical and unforgettable experience where all kids get to enjoy a shopping experience with their class. This event takes place in November/December each year. With help from the PTA, all students will take home a book.
Skating Night - Fire & Ice
This winter family event takes place at Armatage park. Families can ice skate, play in the snow, enjoy s'mores, and get to know the friends that their student has made this year.

Armatage students are encouraged to read every day for two weeks to help build the love of reading for our students while also raising money for our school.
Spending the day outside when Spring fever hits makes this a favorite event for students. Each student has the opportunity to compete amongst their peers at events such as the shoe kick, limbo, and dash. Families love soaking up the sun on the sidelines cheering on the fun. Snacks and school spirit are enjoyed by all.
Gallery A, the Armatage Spring Art Show is a highlight of the school year. The art show is held in the big gym and it features four art pieces from each student.
