Welcome to Room 111!

My name is Jessie Mahabadi and I have been teaching for over 25 years. I have been at Armatage since 2011. I have degrees in Child Psychology and Elementary Education. I've taught every grade from first through sixth. I have also been a resource teacher for advanced learners.

Teaching Philosophy
Teachers play a critical role in the development of children. We are responsible for providing students with all necessary academic lessons and experiences. In addition, we have a strong influence on how children feel about themselves and how they participate in a community. I’m extremely grateful for my experience as a Montessori teacher, which encouraged me to create a nurturing and rich learning environment.
