What led you to become a public school teacher?
My mother was a preschool teacher and I loved babysitting my little brother and neighbors.
What is your training/where did you go to school?
I went to Purdue for my undergraduate degree and St. Thomas for graduate school.
What is your favorite thing about classroom teaching?
I love the way kindergarteners see the world and the funny things they say to make me smile each day.
What is your favorite thing about the Armatage community?
I love the family and staff support. It is great to be a part of this team.
Where are you from?
I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and went to high school in a suburb of Chicago.
What is your family like?
I have a daughter who attended Armatage as an elementary student and is graduating from college this year.
What subject(s) did you like when you were school age?
I loved reading books!
What interests do you have outside of teaching?
I spend my free time reading and doing fun projects around my house.
What silver linings did you find during the pandemic?
I learned how to use technology better.
