The Armatage Vision

Our vision of Armatage Montessori is:

  • students of diverse heritage who interact with and respect one another, who develop academic and social skills, who are curious and become productive citizens.
  • staff who are leaders in reform, who prepare children for real-life experiences, who collaborate as learning facilitators, and who promote thinking, creative expression, self-esteem and problem-solving skills.
  • a principal who provides the direction to attain the goals of Armatage School, its families and community.
  • a developmentally appropriate curriculum that is multicultural, gender-fair, and disability aware; that emphasizes skill foundations; that is motivating and relevant to life and society.
  • parents and community members who take on the responsibility for our children's education, who provide a safe supportive environment for learning.
