Mark your calendars now for the popular annual Family Reading Night at Armatage on February 23rd. Check-in begins at 6:00pm with the first reading at 6:15 and our last session wrapping up no later than 8:00pm. Our theme is "Bedtime Stories," so put your kids in their pajamas and be ready for a fun night of stories and books read by Armatage family and friends. The author of "The Magic Thief" series, Sarah Prineas, will be visiting us via Skype all evening as well. Also new this year: a scary story room and an easy book-related craft room. Jack Jablonski, a 16 year-old Minneapolis hockey player, was injured in a game recently and left paralyzed as a result of his injury. Armatage families who know the Jablonski family are planning an benefit event to support their medical expenses.  The event will be held at the Armatage Rec Center on April 13th, and the planning is already underway. On Tuesday, February 7th, the Chipotle restaurant on York Ave (across from Southdale) will be the place to be!  Chipotle will donate 50% of all sales (take out and dine in) between 5:00 and 8:00 pm, and all funds raised at this event will go to support the fifth grade field trip.  At last year's event, Armatage friends and famlies raised roughly $1000.  Can we do it again?  For Armatage to receive their percentage of sales, customers must present this flyer, in print or on their smartphone.  Click the title link for more info.
