Armatage Montessori School is a public magnet in Southwest Minneapolis. The Montessori education method creates a nurturing, child-centered environment using materials that cultivate your child's natural desire to learn.
Join other Armatage parents in the little gym (near door 5) on Wednesday, August 27th for "Tears and Cheers." At this event we will celebrate and commiserate together as the new K and PreK students begin their school year. Coffee and light snacks will be provided by the PTA.
Thursday, August 21st from 2:30-3:30pm is the annual Playdate in the Park, sponsored by the PTA. Please stop by the playground to meet or reconnect with other Armatage families.
Girls on the Run (GOTR) will be kicking off our fall program at Armatage with practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 – 5:30pm beginning Thursday, 9/4/14. Registration opens on 8/27/14 and is open to all girls in 3rd – 5th grade including returning participants. Click here for more info.
We need lots of lunchroom volunteers - especially the first few weeks of school, when extra lunchroom volunteers can make a huge difference for students. Click to learn more.
Help welcome our newest and youngest students to Armatage by being a bus greeter for PreK and K students during their first week of school (Wed 8/27 - Fri 8/29). Click HERE for more info.
Supplies lists for fall are posted online. Click HERE to download a copy of the list. Drop off supplies on Thursday 8/21 between 2:00 and 3:00 pm. Parents who cannot come during the set-aside time are invited to drop off supplies in the Little Gym any day next week (8/18-8/22) between 7am and 3pm. Please label bags with students' names and room numbers!
University Language Center offers after school language classes in Spanish at Armatage. Classes run Tues/Thurs from 2-3pm starting September 30th. Click HERE for more information
